Ana Paula Montes Ruiz
COSTA RICA, 1978

I am an architect and urbanist trained at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). My work revolves around the intersection of public space, everyday care environments, research-based art activism, and visual culture. My projects critically engage with collective initiatives emerging outside conventional urban planning such as ecofeminism and bottom-up participation.

Joaquin Barriendos
MEXICO CITY, 1973

My research explores the interplays between environmental humanities, creative ecology, visual culture, and the pedagogical aesthetics of care. As a curator, I collaborate with museums, social scientists, and artists. I am currently exploring the future of more-than-human artistic research. My writing elaborates on topics such as geo-aesthetics, hydro-poetics, and the exhibition of architecture as a living archive.
